As the Fox movie channel has been playing some Great noir classics , figured i'd start a thread .

This morning they have a stellar triple feature ..

6 AM - Leave her to Heaven - I just love this film , among my top favorites .

8 AM - Nightmare alley

10 am - Panic in the streets

All times Eastern standard ..


all great films worth seeing .

This morning (thursday the 18th) in the A.M.

6 AM - The Forbidden street - starts Dana andrews , never seen it , not sure if it clssifies as "noir"



Then at 10.00 am - Leaver her to Heaven starring the great Gene Tierney

This morning ( the 27th) they are running "House on 92nd street" at 7:30 am followed by "somewhere in the night" at 9 am eastern time , then up it's "slattery's hurricane" at 11 am with Veronica lake .

My Tivo recorded The Cape Town Affair for me... I tuned it in and it's a remake of Pickup on South Street! Claire Trevor plays the Thelma Ritter role. Anyone else see this?

This morning sunday the 18th 10:30 am eastern Fox movie is playing "Slattery's Hurricane" , amazing cast in this one with Veronica lake , Richard Widmark and Linda Darnell , Directed by Andre Detoth , if you have not seen this one i highly suggest you tape it , really great movie all around & worth seeing .
