So I'm about done with Warner Streaming. They are doing OK with the technical ends (looks great), but man could they TRY not to look like it big media company just trying to make $ off us film...

Very cool. Now we have to find another Cahn film to feature!
This was quite good. A 5 part-er and very much in the spirit of Nordic Noir like The Killing and The Bridge. "The Fall" is very much recommended.
Don't forget tonight is David Goodis night on TCM.
Eddie introduces:
Dark Passage

Inquiring minds want to know!
Good point! I think that's a good Ask Eddie question....
It is cool. Now, if I can just get Eddie to name drop the website!!
BTW, some GREAT westerns on tonight on TCM, including the former Noir of the Week Devil's Doorway
Outstanding! It is one of those movies that's just as much of a time capsule as a crime film. Great job (like the poster too...)
Finally on a US Blu-Ray today!

This week I've been thinking about Nightmare Alley. It's a 1947 noir starring Tyrone Power

Yup.... it is a direct rip off. But not too bad.
a movie that really stays with you. The soundtrack is haunting too -- especially that jazz song Fox uses at first to seduce woman but becomes the theme for the seedy party later. Quite a movie. I...
