Cornelio is a first-class Italian fumetti (comic book) written by Carlo Lucarelli, starring Cornelio Bizzarro, a pulp writer suffering from writer's block. In the original 2008 series, he sets off for Las Vegas to have a bit of fun and to release his creative juices.



However, this is the Las Vegas of the 70s - Elvis, the mafia, fast money and even faster girls - like the luscious Vanessa. Somewhere along the line, he becomes a PI and gets involved in cases that are a mixture of thriller, pulp and horror.

He's having a whale of a time! The original hit series is currently being reprinted by Star Comics with talk of a special later this year.
