Writer/Producer David S. Goyer is not short on imagination. As well as being involved in Batman Begins and Blade, he's also been the captain behind some of the most intriguing TV shows in recent years, such as Flash Forward and Threshold.
Now, he is set to produce 100 Bullets based on Brian Azzarello's noir comic book of the same name. The book ran for 100 issues between 1999 and 2009.
The book is a hard-as-nails noir story, based on the concept of whether people would take the revenge they deserve if they had the chance to take it. Lead character Graves presents people who have been wronged with a handgun that has 100 untraceable bullets and in a Mission Impossible type structure, he also presents them with all the documentation they need to track down the person who has wronged them.
It's an intriguing concept - have you ever been passed over for promotion, or bullied at work, or unfairly dumped by a girlfriend, swindled over a used car - wouldn't you like to get revenge on someone?
