Lilyhammer On Netflix

[Movie Memories]

When we last saw Steven Van Zandt he was watching the back of Tony Soprano. Now, Netflix has produced an original series starring Van Zandt as Fred "The Fixer" Tagliano.

Van Zandt's character is a former New York mobster who is relocated to Lilyhammer, Norway by the witness protection program after testifying against his former associates.

The transformation from respected New York gangster to unemployed immigrant promises to be a difficult one.

It doesn't take long for "The Fixer" to realize that he will have to resort to his old methods of doing business in order to get by.

The program debuts on February 6th, with all eight episodes being available right away.

I saw the ads for this show a while back, and it looks great. Thanks for the Netflix update. I'll definitely be checking it out.

You're quite welcome Nighthawk. I'm looking forward to it myself and am glad to see Netflix go in this direction. A little success in this area can only lead to more original programming and some healthy competition for the premium pay channels.
