The Black Bear Hotel (Thompson Falls, Montana 2011)
Back in the 1970's I was driving from Missoula, Montana to The Yaak (extreme NW Montana) and my generator went out in Thompson Falls and we asked the mechanic if there was a place to crash for the night and he directed us to the barber shop across the street the owner of which owned the old hotel which he nicely opened up for us. It had red carpet and a bathroom at the end of the hall. Its still standing but the barber shop is no more.
