Default Eddie Muller on The Juke Joint radio show

This week's Juke Joint takes a dark turn down a shady avenue as we welcome back author and head honcho of The Film Noir Foundation Eddie Muller. We'll be discussing this years Noir City Fest running Feb. 19-25 at Siff Cinema in Seattle and the noir influence on current pop culture. We'll also be playing some rarely heard music from some classic film scores of the era. So join us this Sunday the 21st at 1:00 PM (Pacific) for The Juke Joint on 90.7 KSER You can listen online at www.kser.org

Ok... here's Jonny's interview with Eddie. I'll sit down and listen to it this weekend.

(This should play fine on Windows computers. Apple folks probably can play it on VLC media player)

I listened to the interview tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it. The stories about watching film noirs on late night TV definitely brought back memories. Thank you Johnny for conducting the interview and thank you Steve for posting it.

I listened to the whole thing... great job. Noir music, good information about John Garfield and a bunch of other noir stars and films. A nice podcast selection... thanks.

I also was interested to hear Eddie explain the process involved in restoring a film from different elements to make a new 35mm print. That provided some valuable insight.
