    Manhandled with Dorothy Lamour

Sterling Hayden was a fixture in 1950s noir. He starred in Manhandled (1949), The Asphalt Jungle (1950), Crime Wave (1954), Naked Alibi (1954), The Killing (1956), Crime of Passion (1957), and returned to the genre in The Long Goodbye (1973). And then there's Johnny Guitar (1954), Terror in a Texas Town (1958), Dr. Strangelove (1964), and The Godfather (1972).

I haven't seen it either, but most reviews say the great cast is wasted. And with Dan Duryea and Hayden in it, the cast is indeed great.

Of course, Hayden also appeared in newsreels. Here he is testifying before HUAC.

Won't be watching "Manhandled" tonight. I thought I had taped it off tv-apparently made an error in my spreadsheet.
