The person quoted here has so far been a reliable source for info re Olive:
Nothing essential on the list as far as I'm concerned, though I would probably have picked up THE TURNING POINT if it were to have been released. Any disappointment I may feel about its non-appearance is more than made up for by PRIVATE HELL 36, THE DARK MIRROR, SECRET BEYOND THE DOOR, and MY SON JOHN! (Welles' MACBETH too, even though I have the R2 release.)These films were at one time or another listed as future Olive releases. All of them have been removed from their release schedule.
Fear is the Key (1972)
The Long Day's Dying (1968)
Macaroni (1985)
Promise Her Anything (1965)
The Proud and the Profane (1956)
The Savage (1952)
The Savage Innocents (1960)
Shanks (1974)
The Turning Point (1952)
Warpath (1951)
I heard that they were all cancelled because the film elements that were available were not acceptable.
