Get a subscription to Noir City. You can also pick up the print editions of the Noir City Annual. There are also many other subject-specific books on noir, some of which are mentioned in this thread elsewhere. Some of the more commonly known books are the Film Noir Reader series of books, edited by Silver and Ursini.
