    Default " the boss " (1956)

comm'in on TCM - wed- june 20 at 1:30 am, " THE BOSS " (1956) with john payne, who i always enjoy in a good noir - Larceny (1948) The Crooked Way (1949) (one of my favorites) Kansas City Confidential (1952) 99 River Street (1953), also a few westerns. any body seen this one, i'll be recording it, a few of my favorite bit characters are in it, Rhys Williams,Percy Helton, and even joe flynn(captain binghamton) who played the part of the doctor in "the indestructable man" which i liked( a cheepie noir -horror black and white starring lon chaney jr from the late 50's) .... johnny o'clock, any insight

I agree. Payne has quite a good run. Another exception: Hell's Island is a chore to get through too...
