Does anyone know of any good animated noir? I'm woefully undereducated about this area. The only animated films I could think of that would fit in this category are some of the shorts from The Animatrix.

There was an anime series called "NOIR" i think there were maybe 24 episodes ?? all on dvd now , i own them but have not seen them in years , I liked them at the time , lot's of gun's/shooting , a Msytery involving two young girls ...... ton's on youtube you can check out
another one i liked was "lain" the serial Experiments
