    Default Noir Guitars

Johnny Winter’s rendition of Bob Dylan’s Highway 61 …not to be confused with Highway 301 or Thieves Highway

Yeah it’s Davis and Coltrane, doing ‘So What’ but check out the bass lines. Is this ‘cool noir’ or what?

HBR, Thanks for a great musical triptych. Winter, Duane, and Miles, their sounds stay with ya.

    Here is the deduction:

    1.6 kilometers equals one Miles
    Paris at night is Black
An alpha male director would try something that includes 1960s Kodak flashcubes
A science fiction, two-star Parisian fleabag hotel does not have satin sheets

Alphaville by Godard with Mr Davis playing a Mahavishnu Orchestra style horn in Black Satin

(Wonder if John McLaughlin and Billy Cobham would have added anything extra to the mood or future?)

An interesting clip about an excellent film. Miles’ music is perfect in Elevator to the Gallows. It makes Jeanne Moreau appear so moody hot. Can’t get enough of this.

Now about that cigar…a Davidoff Grand Cru No. 1 will do just fine.
