Gotta take exception to this Buick, Rick. The "Riviera" monicker was applied ONLY to Buick 2-door hardtops up through about 1958, and this is a Buick Special 4-door sedan.
The 1952 Buick Riviera came in two-door and four-door variants. Under the Super Series moniker, the Model 52 Buick Riviera is the four-door version of which 71,387 were manufactured in 1952. Under the Roadmaster Series, the Model 72R Riviera is the four-door version of which 32,069 were made in 1952.
