Alan Rode is a lucky guy.
From his facebook:
I had a discussion about Liz Scott recently. I think she's a limited actress but comes across very well (and sexy) in Martha Ivers. She almost never makes appearances so this is a big thing...just returned from a superb evening at the Academy on Wilshire. A new 35mm print of The Strange Love of Martha Ivers (1946) and my filmed interview of Kirk Douglas discussing his debut film both on the Samuel Goldwyn Theatre big screen. The highlight was the surprise guest appearance of noir iconess Lizabeth Scott who chatted with before the screening. Miss Scott- who co-starred in Martha Ivers with Van Heflin and Barbara Stanwyck- spoke on stage with the Academy's Randy Haberkamp after the film.
