When I used to teach creative writing, one of the fun things we did was to produce viral threads. It works like this - the teacher sets the basic scene and then each of the ten or so students in the group continues the thread. The last student (no.10) has to bring it all to a conclusion. Do you want to try it? If so, let me start you off:

Down-at-heel private eye Sam Malone is sat in his office. A beautiful dame walks in and sits opposite him. "I must be in a movie," he thinks. She introduces herself as Vanessa Charm, a rich heiress from the best side of town. At first, the tale she relates leaves Sam disbelieving, confused - but slowly, as he feels the strength of her allure, it takes on the rich vein of truth. Vanessa is a newly-turned vampire but as is the way with vampires, she remembers nothing of the turning. She wants Sam to track down the fiend who did this to her and to find out why. Then she'll decide what to do............
