One thing the French know a lot about is how to make a good thriller - and you won't be disappointed if you catch up with Crime d'Amour (Love Crime), especially if you like strong women.

The last film of director Alain Corneau before his untimely death earlier this year, it focuses on Kristin Scott Thomas (who speaks French fluently and often works in French films) and Ludivine Sagnier as the top two executives in a multinational fast-food corporation.

They have a love-hate relationship which develops into psychosis as they battle it out to maintain dominance both within the organisation and also in the relationship they share with junior executive Phillippe. It's when Ludivine decides that there can only be one solution to the tension that things start to get interesting.................

And here's the trailer....
